Overview

This tool, created for our client – a global leader in convenient foods and beverages – is used daily across the whole organisation. It occupies a unique spot in the business in that it bridges the gap between their global project management tool and R&D sub-processes. It automates – through API connection – the creation, management and completion of a global innovation brief, which is a key document in their project feasibility process.

Authenticated using Azure and Okta SSO, the tool enable multiple functions – from Procurement to Product Development – to login and input data to be shared across the business and the project. Once complete, data is then returned to the client’s project management system for full traceability and compliance.

Previously, this process was managed by a single Word document that was shared, copied, emailed and amended around the team leads before being uploaded manually to the project management system. Before, product teams suffered from lack of visibility, clarity and traceability. Now, the governance and compliance teams have full visibility of current, past and pipeline projects including completion status and response.
