Jorge Colombo is amongst a few Artists who are current using software on their Apple Iphone as a palette and canvas to create digital art. Jorge – an artist originally from Lisbon, Portugal, who now lives in New York – uses the Brushes application for the Iphone (it cost him $4.99!) with the flick of a finger to paint photos of famous New York scenes from scratch! The art is unpretentious and do not claim to be more than a sort of visual diary. What they do show is that a sensitive eye can use any medium to respond to the world around us whether it’s a brush or Brushes! (Links open in a new window)
