Jellyhaus were commissioned to design and produce the marketing material for The Royal Show.

Why printed marketing materials are still a good form of marketing.

It’s possible that we all know someone who is resistant to internet use or smartphone use.  If a company only advertises by way of digital online marketing, they will fail to reach a good portion of their target audience.

A recent McKinsey report pointed out that the majority of the world’s population — about 60 percent — is still offline.

Combining offline and online marketing may get better results

Printed marketing materials are still an excellent way to put into a consumers hands,  information about your company and its services.  Whether it’s brochures, inserts, flyers,  business cards, post cards, posters, catalogs, door hangers, etc.,  finding an agency that can do the design simply isn’t enough.  A good design agency will also understand business communications.

Do your marketing materials get read?

Design is important in order to draw the reader’s eye to the material. Design can be thought of as your shop window. It needs to be attractive so that the reader will pick up the material and explore it.

Once the reader has picked up the material, the content should entice the reader to want to know more about the business and its services; engage the customer and give them a reason to stay. The best result is that the reader reads the material and then decides to keep it, to explore the company or its services in greater detail at a later time and be excited enough by it, that even if they don’t require the service/products at that time, they want to share with someone they know whom they believe will be interested.

Tip:  Printed marketing materials, in whatever form, should also include your business website and social media accounts.
